The scenery of Shichirigahama, the birthplace of Pacific GOLF CLUB. In that sky, there is always a single bird gracefully circling. The “kite (BLACK KITE), is a local icon.
We’d like to introduce the “BLACK KITE MASCOT SERIES,” which features this symbol of everyday life in Shichirigahama as its star.
The mascot characters exude a nostalgic yet pop vibe, reminiscent of vintage college sweatshirts. Combined with the signature PGC golf style, the collection features pieces that are both authentic and fresh.

ABOUT BLACK KITE
A kite circling the skies above Shichirigahama.
High above Pacific DRIVE-IN, where people carrying surfboards come and go, they have been watching over this land since time immemorial.
Sometimes it even swoops down in search of lunch, revealing a slightly mischievous side. For locals, it’s a beloved “local icon” that evokes memories of Shichirigahama itself.
The “Pacific GOLF CLUB”as the mascot for the “BLACK KITE MASCOT SERIES.”
The ocean and the mountains, surfing and golf. We’ve depicted Pacific GOLF CLUB’s “Surf and Turf” lifestyle as a symbol watching over the area from the sky.

The graphic design is by YOKO YAMASHIRO Designs.
Based on the concept of “authentic designs inspired by vintage clothing that adults would want to wear,” the studio created original graphics featuring the kites of Shichirigahama as a motif.
Much like the mascot characters found on vintage college sweatshirts, the Shichirigahama kite has been reimagined as a character that is both pop and somehow nostalgic.
We incorporate these graphics—combined with delicate typography—onto our items using various techniques, such as embroidery and printing.

Graphics found in vintage clothing—slightly uneven yet somehow endearing. We’ve infused that essence into the casual golf style characteristic of PGC.
While paying homage to the good old days of American college style, the central motif remains the kite at Shichirigahama. This originality stems precisely from the fact that Pacific GOLF CLUB is not simply borrowing from others.
Authentic yet fresh—this is the unique aesthetic of BLACK KITE.
