Pacific GOLF CLUB—the “BLACK KITE” series, inspired by the scenery of Shichirigahama, the birthplace of Pacific GOLF CLUB.
The graphic design is by YOKO YAMASHIRO Designs.
Based on the concept of “authentic designs inspired by vintage clothing that adults would actually want to wear,” Pacific DRIVE-IN, the studio created original graphics featuring the “kites”—a local landmark of Shichirigahama, where the studio is located.
Much like the mascot characters often found on vintage college sweatshirts, the Shichirigahama kite has been reimagined as a pop yet somewhat nostalgic character.
We’ve incorporated these graphics—combined with delicate typography—onto our items using various techniques, such as embroidery and printing.
This collection blends the casual golf style characteristic of PGC with the essence of vintage wear, resulting in a look that is both authentic and fresh.
